Summary: Kanata no Astra is a film about life immersed in space. It is a story about the future of 2061 – a time when space travel was commercialized. A group of nine students from Caird High School flew into space. However, one incident took them 5012 light years away from their homeland. With the discovery of an old, unmanned spaceship nearby, the students must use all their limited resources to return to earth.
